OUR pROGRAM
PROGRAMS
Our DAP provides several programs to youth and young adults from ages 10-24 that caters all skill levels and needs.
Our Introductory Program is geared to expose students on how drones are used in construction, cinematography, mapping, and emergency preparedness. Introductory students can earn certifications and even get qualified for summer employment.
Our Advanced Program is geared for participants who have successfully completed the introductory drone apprenticeship program. This program is based 100 percent on project learning and students will train on Drone Deploy Mapping Software targeting exposure to agriculture, construction, mining, renewable energy, inspection, and emergency preparedness.
CERTIFICATIONS
DAP collaborates with other organizations to provide workforce development programs.
Students can earn the following certifications:
- OSHA 10
- Blueprint Reading
- Lean Six Sigma (white and yellow belt)
- Recreational UAS Drone Safety Test
- “Scratch Programming Language”
Additional certifications are provided based on the program curriculum.
